Welcome!

Thank you for visiting the Rock Presbyterian Church website.  We are a Parish in the Presbytery of the Mid-Atlantic in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and have long established roots in the Greenwood and Piedmont community; Rock Church was established in 1770 and is the oldest congregation in the region.  Rock Presbyterian Church is a growing reformed Church that is traditional in her worship and committed to the supremacy of Jesus Christ and the sufficiency of His Word.  As a reformed church, we hold to the doctrine contained in the Westminster Confession of Faith (1903) as the summary of what is taught in Holy Scripture.

We invite you and your family to come, worship and grow with us, as we seek to glorify God as a community of faith in the historic reformed tradition. Please look around our website and find out more about us.  If you believe this is the place where God is leading you and your family, please contact us if you have any questions about the church.

Color of the Christian Year:

 Green: 26th Sabbath of Pentecost

Green is the color of vegetation, therefore it is the color of life. Green is the color for the Season after Epiphany and the Season After Pentecost. These two seasons are also called ‘Ordinary Time’ because the Sundays have no names, just ordinal numbers.
